Our calendar is designed to work on all devices but looks different depending on how you access it.

How to Use the Calendar on a Laptop/PC

The calendar shows the current month, with today’s date highlighted in blue.

Click the arrows to the left and right of the month in the heading to move forward/ back through the year.

Hover your cursor arrow over an event to see the time, date, and location details.

Click “see more details” to save the activity/ event in your own calendar.

This will open up your own calendar with an option to save the event.

Google calendar can be used to save items from Brunswick Youth and Community Centre.

It will also save the location, so you can open it in google maps to find your way to us if needed.

Using the Calendar on a Smartphone (e.g. iPhone)

Depending on the size of your screen, when you open our calendar on your smartphone or (small-screen) tablet, you will see the current month like this:

Click the left and right arrows next to the month heading (February 2016 on the picture above) to move forward/ back through the year.

To see what events are happening on any day, tap on the day (and dots) to open a detailed list of activities:

Touch the dots on the day you’re interested in to see the day’s activities.

Again, tap “see more details”  to add the event/ activity to your own calendar.

Touch the screen on either side of this detailed list to close it.

Calendar on a tablet (e.g. iPad)

If you are using a larger touch screen (a tablet/ iPad), or have turned your smartphone sideways, you will see the calendar like this:

Tap on the event or activity you are interested in to open the box showing full details.

Tap on “see more details” to add it to your calendar.
