On Friday 11 March Jamie Carragher hosted a fundraising dinner for Brunswick Youth and Community Centre at The Brunny.
We’re pleased to report that the event, organised by Liverpool Former Players’ Association 5times, quickly sold-out and was a resounding success.
Jamie and many special guests entertained an audience of 290 people. The audience heard many stories, jokes, and memories of Jamie’s time growing up in Bootle and his stellar football career.
Guests included Bootle’s MP Peter Dowd, who tweeted this:

Thanks to Jamie Carragher and All Involved
The event went well into the early hours of Saturday morning and raised thousands of pounds for The Brunny. The money will help us continue our charitable mission of helping people in Bootle, Sefton, and beyond.

Grateful thanks from the management, staff, volunteers, and users of Brunswick Youth and Community Centre go to everyone involved. Your hard work and dedication to put on such a fantastic night is very much appreciated and will make a real difference to the Centre and our community.
Special thanks go to Carra. Without your enthusiasm, support, and lifelong commitment to The Brunny the fundraising dinner would not have happened. Thank you Jamie!
